Join us on the Paracas National Reserve Peru – Huacachina Ica Peru 3D/2N Tour and discover southern Peru’s natural beauty. We will explore coastal deserts, golden dunes, and rich marine life. This experience will blend adventure, relaxation, and local culture in one unforgettable journey.

We will begin our adventure in Paracas, home to vibrant wildlife and scenic ocean views. We will visit the Ballestas Islands to see sea lions, penguins, and seabirds in their natural environment. The Paracas National Reserve will surprise us with desert landscapes meeting the Pacific Ocean. Every stop will bring new photo opportunities and peaceful moments.

In Ica, we will explore the region’s sunny vineyards and learn about its traditional Pisco production. We will visit Huacachina, the famous desert oasis surrounded by immense sand dunes. We will ride dune buggies across the golden sands and try sandboarding for thrilling fun. The sunset over Huacachina will create a magical desert atmosphere.

We will relax at a hotel with a refreshing pool and comfortable rooms. Local guides will share stories about the region’s culture and history. Every day will connect us with nature, adventure, and authentic Peruvian experiences. This tour will show us the best of Paracas National Reserve Peru – Huacachina Ica Peru in just three days.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Hotel Check-in – Vineyards of Ica and Dune Buggies in Huacachina

We will begin our journey around 10:00 AM. at the Ica bus station. A friendly transfer will take us to Bodega Tacama, one of the oldest vineyards in Peru.  We will walk through peaceful vineyards and learn about the art of making Pisco and wine. We will taste their best varieties and enjoy the warm and sunny atmosphere of Ica.

Our next stop will be CulturPisco, a cozy artisanal winery full of history.
We will discover the traditional methods of fermentation and distillation and sample handcrafted Piscos and wines made with care and passion. Lunch will be optional at CulturPisco, perfect for relaxing before continuing the day.

Later, we will head to our hotel in Huacachina and complete check-in.
We will take some time to rest by the pool and admire the golden dunes surrounding the oasis.
At 16:30, we will begin our dune buggy and sandboarding adventure. We will glide across the sand and feel the thrill of the desert breeze.
As the sun sets, we will enjoy magical views over the quiet Huacachina oasis.

Day 2: Ballestas Islands and Paracas National Reserve

We will wake up early to enjoy a full day of adventure and nature. At 06:30 AM, we will depart from the hotel toward the peaceful town of Paracas. Once there, we will board a speedboat from El Chaco Pier to explore the sea. Our first sight will be the mysterious Candelabro geoglyph, carved into the sandy hillside.

We will continue toward the Ballestas Islands, home to diverse marine life. We will watch playful sea lions, graceful penguins, and seabirds resting on rocky shores. The two-hour boat ride will allow us to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Ocean.  We will feel the gentle sea breeze and take stunning photos of the islands.

After our boat tour, we will explore the incredible Paracas National Reserve.  We will visit Playa Roja and Lagunillas Bay, both known for their breathtaking views. We will walk short trails surrounded by desert and sea landscapes.  By 04:00 PM, we will return to Huacachina, filled with the calm energy of nature.

Day 3: Tour to the Lost Canyon

We will begin our final adventure early in the morning at 06:45 AM. Our driver will meet us at the hotel for our trip to the Cañón de los Perdidos. The road will lead us through beautiful desert landscapes and open skies. We will make a short stop at Pampa de Piedras, where hundreds of stone towers stand.

These small stone stacks, called Apachetas, are symbols of good luck built by travelers.At 09:00 AM, we will arrive at the breathtaking Cañón de los Perdidos viewpoint. We will admire the immense canyon stretching across the desert. Its deep walls shelter birds like vultures, the silent guardians of the region.

We will take photos, enjoy the quiet desert wind, and feel close to nature. Around 11:30 AM, we will start our return toward Ica city. By 03:00 PM, we will arrive and transfer to the hotel or bus station.

Our journey through Paracas National Reserve Peru - Huacachina Ica Peru will end peacefully, full of unforgettable memories.

"The tour starts very early type 3-4 am, how good you can sleep on the way, we breakfast in a very good buffet and then depart for the mountain. Here the height is the problem, you can walk up but it requires a lot of condition, the good thing is that there are horses that you can pay and for 90 suns they leave you 15-20 minutes from the top. Wear layered clothes as you can warm up when climbing. We already walk down and the road is much easier. On horseback you go up in 40 minutes, you are on the mountain an hour to take pictures and the return is about 1 hour or so. In the end we still had lunch in the same very rich buffet!"

"Recommended! What a beautiful place!!! Most of us went up there on mules. Important to clarify if the person weighs more than 110 kg he will not be able to carry it and will have to walk up. It is still very expensive, to have proper footwear."
