In the afternoon, we will head to the Huacachina Oasis for a thrilling dune buggy and sandboarding adventure. We will enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the desert before returning to Lima.

After settling in, we will begin our Cusco City Tour, where we will explore some of the most important historical and archaeological sites of the city. During the tour we will visit Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and nearby Inca archaeological complexes such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, learning about the impressive architecture and history of the Inca civilization.
This tour will also help us start adapting to the altitude while discovering the cultural heritage of the Imperial City of Cusco. After the visit, we will return to our hotel, and we will have some free time to walk through Cusco’s cobbled streets, traditional markets, and charming plazas.

Then, we will head toward Maras, a picturesque Andean village with traditional doorways and stone streets. We will continue to the Salineras de Maras, a stunning network of 3,000 salt pools that glisten under the sun. Surrounded by the peaks of Verónica and Chicón, this will be a perfect place for photos.

The trail will ascend gradually through colorful landscapes, herds of alpacas, and snow-capped peaks. After a 1.5-hour hike, we will reach Vinicunca, at 5,200 meters above sea level. The mountain displays natural mineral colors that form red, yellow, and turquoise stripes.
We will have time for rest and photos before descending for lunch in Cusipata. Later, we will return to Cusco, full of Andean energy and beautiful memories.

We will continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch surrounded by mountains. In the afternoon, we will explore Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca fortress with huge stone terraces. We will then take a train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), where our guide will meet us at the station and take us to our hotel.

Afterward, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Our driver will transfer us to Cusco.
