Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a booking with Machu Picchu Tours.
1. Bookings and Payments
To confirm a booking with Machu Picchu Tours, a deposit is required as an advance on the total tour cost. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 10 days before the start date.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or any other method agreed upon in advance.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations more than 15 days in advance: 50% refund.
- Cancellations less than 7 days in advance: no refund.
- Confirmed third-party purchases (tickets, trains, etc.) are non-refundable, subject to each provider's policies.
- If Machu Picchu Tours cancels due to external causes (extreme weather, route closures), a rescheduling or full refund will be offered.
3. Itinerary Modifications
Machu Picchu Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary for operational, safety, or force majeure reasons, including weather conditions or local authority requirements.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure you are in adequate physical condition to participate.
- Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements.
- Bring appropriate equipment for hikes and activities, unless otherwise indicated.
5. Travel Insurance
We recommend purchasing insurance that covers accidents, cancellations, and evacuations. Machu Picchu Tours is not liable for incidents occurring during tours.
6. Loss or Damage of Property
Machu Picchu Tours is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings during tours, hikes, or transportation included in the tour.
7. Client Conduct
The safety and well-being of the group is our priority. We reserve the right to remove from the tour any client who causes disruptions, violates safety rules, or endangers the group.
8. Intellectual Property
All visual and written content of the tours offered by Machu Picchu Tours, including itineraries, descriptions, and photographs, is the property of the company. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
9. Applicable Law
Any disputes related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to Peruvian law and the jurisdiction of the courts of Cusco.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking with Machu Picchu Tours, you accept all terms and conditions set out herein.
