The Sacred Valley Connection Machu Picchu O/N Ollantaytambo 3D/2N tour is an experience designed for travelers who want to explore the best of the Andean world in a single journey, combining history, breathtaking landscapes, and living culture.

Throughout the tour, you will explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting ancient archaeological sites and traditional villages that reflect the greatness of the Inca civilization, including iconic stops such as Ollantaytambo, one of the most important complexes in Cusco.

The most anticipated moment of the trip is the visit to Machu Picchu, considered one of the wonders of the world, where sacred architecture blends with an incomparable natural environment.

The experience is completed with unique places such as Pinkuylluna, the Maras salt mines, the circular terraces of Moray, and the traditional village of Chinchero, ending in Cusco and leaving you with unforgettable memories.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

We begin with hotel pickup from Cusco’s historic center and head toward the Sacred Valley. Our first stop is the Taray Viewpoint, a perfect panoramic spot to admire the valley and agricultural terraces. We continue to Pisac, known for its impressive Inca terraces and strategic location.

After the guided tour, we enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, we visit the impressive Ollantaytambo fortress, one of the last living Inca towns and a remarkable archaeological site. Then, we take the train to Aguas Calientes, where we spend the night and prepare for the visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Return to Ollantaytambo

Llegó el día más esperado del viaje,nos dirigimos hacia la estación de buses para ascender al ingreso de Machu Picchu. Realizamos una visita guiada completa por la ciudadela, recorriendo sus templos, plazas ceremoniales y terrazas agrícolas, mientras conocemos su profundo valor histórico y espiritual como centro sagrado de la civilización inca.

Luego del tiempo libre para fotografías y exploración personal, descendemos hacia Aguas Calientes y abordamos el tren de retorno hasta Ollantaytambo, donde pasamos la noche y descansamos en este histórico pueblo andino, cerrando un día lleno de emociones y momentos inolvidables.

Day 3: Ollantaytambo – Pinkuylluna – Maras – Moray – Chinchero – Cusco

Today is the highlight of the journey. We take the bus up to Machu Picchu and enjoy a complete guided tour of the citadel, visiting temples, ceremonial plazas, and agricultural terraces while learning about its historical and spiritual significance.

After free time for photos, we return to Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where we spend the night.

Day 4: Ollantaytambo – Pinkuylluna – Maras – Moray – Chinchero – Cusco

After breakfast, we hike to Pinkuylluna, ancient Inca storage structures with panoramic valley views. We then visit the Maras salt mines, still used by local families.

Next, we explore Moray, a unique Inca agricultural laboratory, and finish in Chinchero, known for its colonial church and traditional textiles. Finally, we return to Cusco.

  • Machu Picchu tickets, train, and bus tickets are non-refundable, personal, and non-transferable.
  • If only a 50% deposit was made, it is non-refundable.
  • Promotional rates are non-refundable.

Force majeure:  In case of strikes, natural disasters, or emergencies, rescheduling options will be offered. If the tour cannot operate, a 25% administrative fee will apply.

Refunds: Refunds (when applicable) are processed within 7 to 45 business days, depending on the payment method.

"The tour starts very early type 3-4 am, how good you can sleep on the way, we breakfast in a very good buffet and then depart for the mountain. Here the height is the problem, you can walk up but it requires a lot of condition, the good thing is that there are horses that you can pay and for 90 suns they leave you 15-20 minutes from the top. Wear layered clothes as you can warm up when climbing. We already walk down and the road is much easier. On horseback you go up in 40 minutes, you are on the mountain an hour to take pictures and the return is about 1 hour or so. In the end we still had lunch in the same very rich buffet!"
