Your Rainbow Mountain quad bike tour begins in the early morning, around 4:00–4:30 AM, when our team picks you up directly from your hotel in Cusco. Leaving the city in the quiet of dawn, the journey takes you through the Peruvian Andes, passing small villages, farms, and valleys painted with the morning light.
After about two hours, you’ll stop in the town of Cusipata to enjoy a traditional buffet breakfast, fueling up for the adventure ahead. Here, your tour guide will brief you on the day’s itinerary and answer any last questions before continuing to the starting base.
From Cusipata, the road winds upward until reaching the starting point near Japura. This is where the adrenaline kicks in — you’ll receive helmets, gloves, and a full safety orientation before mounting your quad bikes.
Once ready, the group sets off on an exhilarating ATV ride of approximately 30 minutes across rugged trails surrounded by towering mountain ranges and herds of alpacas and llamas.
