Detailed itinerary
Day 1:
Cusco – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo
Day 1: Cusco – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo
Early in the morning, around 03:45 AM, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco. If you are staying outside the city center, a meeting point will be arranged.
During the transfer to Ollantaytambo, you will enjoy Andean landscapes and views of the Urubamba River. The guide will provide an overview of the tour and important recommendations.
At approximately 06:00 AM, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. The journey takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes through mountains, rivers, and agricultural terraces. Upon arrival, you will have free time for breakfast before taking the bus to Machu Picchu.
The guided tour lasts around 2 hours and includes the Main Plaza, urban sector, Circular Tower, Intihuatana, and the Inca Cemetery. After the visit, we return by bus to Aguas Calientes. You will have free time to explore or visit the hot springs.
In the afternoon, we take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where you will spend the night.

We continue to Maras Salt Mines, where hundreds of salt pools are still used with traditional methods.Then we visit Moray, famous for its circular terraces used as an agricultural laboratory.
Finally, we visit Chinchero, known for its weaving community, Inca ruins, and panoramic Andean views. After the tour, we return to Cusco.
