The Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Tour 2D/1N will combine ancient culture, breathtaking scenery, and the mystery of the Andes. We will explore sacred sites, traditional villages, and the most iconic wonder of Peru. Every moment will connect us with the spirit and wisdom of the Inca civilization.
We will begin our adventure through the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains rising over 3,000 meters above sea level. We will visit Maras and its dazzling white salt terraces that shine under the sun. Then, we will explore Moray and its circular terraces at 3,500 meters above sea level, an ancient Inca laboratory of agriculture. The landscape will invite us to take unforgettable photographs filled with history and culture.
In the afternoon, we will continue toward Aguas Calientes by train, following the Urubamba River through a lush valley. We will walk its charming streets and rest in a comfortable hotel at the base of the Andes. The sound of the river and the mountain air will prepare us for our next day. We will feel anticipation grow as we approach the sacred sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
At sunrise, we will ascend by bus to Machu Picchu at 2,430 meters above sea level. We will explore its temples, terraces, and sacred plazas with our expert guide. Detailed itinerary
Day 1:

Day 1: Sacred Valley + Maras and Moray + Connection to Machu Picchu
We will begin early with a hotel pickup between 06:00 AM and 06:30 AM. from the historic center of Cusco. Our journey will start toward Chinchero, an ancient Inca palace later transformed into a colonial temple. We will watch traditional weaving demonstrations and learn about South American camelids like llamas and alpacas.
Next, we will continue to Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural laboratory located at 3,500 meters above sea level. Its circular terraces create microclimates that allowed the Incas to experiment with crops. We will walk among the concentric circles and admire the view of the surrounding mountains.
We will then visit Maras, home to more than 5,000 salt ponds still used since Inca times. We will see the process of salt extraction and take amazing photos of the white terraces contrasting with the green valley.
Afterward, we will arrive in Urubamba, where we can enjoy an optional buffet lunch surrounded by scenic landscapes. We will continue to Ollantaytambo, known for its ancient stone streets and majestic fortress. We will climb its terraces and observe panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.
In the evening, we will head to the train station to board our train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Our team will meet us upon arrival and accompany us to our hotel for a restful night before our visit to the Lost City of the Incas.

After breakfast, we will gather in the main square of Aguas Calientes. Our guide will provide details about entry tickets and bus schedules. We will board the bus to the Machu Picchu entrance at 2,430 meters above sea level.
Once inside, we will explore the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu for about two hours. We will visit temples, plazas, terraces, and sacred enclosures while learning about the history and purpose of each structure. We will capture unforgettable photos surrounded by towering peaks and mystical energy.
After the guided tour, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes. We will have free time to enjoy lunch, relax in the hot springs, or explore local markets. Later, we will take the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our private transport will drive us back to Cusco. We will arrive around 09:00 PM, concluding an unforgettable journey through the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
